Q: Are pets allowed?
A: We welcome non-aggressive, house-trained dogs of specific breeds on a case-by-case basis. All pets are subject to a $99 + tax pet fee and must be approved before booking.

Q: What is provided?
A: We provide sheets, bath towels, soap, toilet paper, two beach chairs, various beach toys, various kitchen items, and a starter supply of paper and soaps. Important note: We do NOT provide towels for beach use. Please do not bring bath towels to the beach.

Q: Can I bring extra people?
A: Occupancy in the condo is limited to 6 people at all times, including all children and visitors. This rule is strictly enforced by the management at our complex, and unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any exceptions.

Q: Is the beach nice?
A: Yes, the beach at South Padre has white sand with dark blue water. While the public beaches do not usually have a closing time, please follow all posted signs. The nearest beach access has on-site restrooms, showers, and trash bins.

Q: How far is the beach?
A: The Waves Complex is located on the corner of Atol Street and Gulf Boulevard (green building on maps). The closest beach access is at Treasure Island which is less than 5-minute walk from the condo.

Q: What restaurants are within walking distance?
A: For family dining, nearby options on Padre Boulevard include Whataburger (5 minutes away), The Padre Island Brewing Company (5 minutes away), and Blackbeard’s (10 minutes away). For adult dining, The Cafe on the Beach is located just five minutes up Gulf Boulevard.

Q: Where should we buy groceries, supplies, etc.?
A: Wal-Mart and HEB are located in Port Isabel, which is about a 10 minute drive from the condo. You will pass these on the way in, before crossing the bridge. The Blue Marlin Grocery and Dollar General are located in South Padre Island. You may choose to walk or drive.

Q: Is there a grill?
A: The Waves Complex has a dedicated grilling area with BBQ grill that is shared by all guests. Please bring your own charcoal and grill utensils and supplies.

Q: Is there parking?
A: Guests receive assigned parking in front of the condo for 2 cars. The spaces are one behind the other. Unfortunately, additional on-site parking is not available. Please do not park in spaces reserved for other units.

Q: What is the minimum rental age?
A: The primary guest making the reservation must be at least 25 years old and staying the entire visit. During certain weeks in the month of March only, responsible groups of student spring breakers age 21+ are permitted. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any other exceptions.

Q: Can I view the unit in advance?
A: To protect the privacy of current guests, we are not able to show the unit in advance. You’ll find our up-to-date photos and reviews on our website.

Q: What is the minimum stay?
A: Our minimum stay varies from 2-4 nights, depending on the season. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to accommodate 1 night stays or exceptions to the published minimum stay.

Q: How can I get access to the place and who will meet us?
A: We will send you a message prior to your arrival date to give you instructions on your check-in.

Q: Can we do early check-in?
A: Sometimes we are able to do early check-ins, but it depends on how early the unit is vacated that morning, the condition of the unit, and how quickly the cleaners can get everything perfect for you! Therefore, we can’t promise early check-in, but will do our very best to satisfy those requests. We will get in touch with you a day or so before your arrival when we should have a better idea at that time if we will be able accommodate an early check-in. Please mention your request at that time.

Q: What is the deposit?
A: Your quote may include a $300 refundable damage deposit, which is automatically released within 7 days to your original payment method, assuming there is no damage. We have NO interest in retaining damage deposits, we simply wish to keep our condo beautiful for all guests.

Q: Can I book multiple units?
A: The Waves Complex has eight independently owned units. We are only able to confirm reservation for this unit. After booking, we can provide details about nearby units. However, we cannot guarantee any availability.

Q: What is the best available rate?
A: We keep our online listing updated with our best available rate. We do not respond to bidding or bargaining requests.

Q: Do you require Rental Agreement?
A: Rental agreement and rules are provided during booking process. Failure to accept and sign Rental Agreement document may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeitures of funds paid.
